| Project Brief | The project activity involves setting up of two units of paddy straw based biomass power plant with capacity of 18 MW each by M/s. Sukhbir Agro Energy Limited (SAEL) in the state of Punjab, India. The electricity generated from the entire project (2X18 MW) is exported to Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (PSPCL). One 18 MW Project is set up in Ferozeshah, Tehsil – Ghallkhurd in Ferozepur District and the other Project is located at Jaitu, District – Faridkot. Both the biomass projects were awarded by Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) to SAEL together. |
