| Project Brief | Kürekdağı WPP has been developed by Bakır Enerji Elektrik Üretim Anonim Şirketi. The project aims to contribute to reducing national energy deficit and development of local industries as it allows the use of cheaper energy for industrialists and gain advantage in a competitive environment. In this scope, Bakır Enerji Elektrik Üretim Anonim Şirketi planned to install 10 x 3.4 MWm (3.25 MWe) wind turbines in Gemlik town, Kürekdağı, Hendekbaşı Tepe, Orta Tepe, Bakamak Tepe, Çakal Tepe district in Bursa Province and in Çınarcık town, Davlumbaz Tepe, Bakacak Tepe, Delibaş Tepe districts in Yalova Province with the purpose of contributing to the national economy the meeting the increased electricity demand. |
