Project Brief	The project activity consists of setting up of Wind Turbine Generator (WTGs) of a total capacity of 14.1 MW (2.00 MW x 6 no‟s and 2.1 MW x 1 no.) in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.The project activity generates power by using the kinetic energy of wind, thus resulting in zero emissions during electricity production. The purpose of the project activity is to supply emission free energy generated by the WTGs to state power distribution company which would displace an equivalent amount of power from the grid connected power stations, which are mainly fossil fuel fired power plants and then will be used in Project Participant‟s industry for captive use. Hence, it results in reduction of GHG emissions in electricity generation. Project Owners have signed wheeling agreements with local state electricity companies for wheeling the generated energy from the project activity.
