Project Brief

The main purpose of this project activity is to generate clean form of electricity through renewable solar energy source.
Bhageria Industries Ltd. is the promoter of the proposed project activity which involves installation of 30 MW solar power
project at village- Kombhalne, Tehsil- Akole, District- Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The solar power project is installed in
the state of Maharashtra in India by Bhageria Industries Ltd, at site where no renewable/solar power plant was operating
prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field power plant). The electricity generated from solar power
plant is exported to the Indian grid, thus replaces equivalent amount of electricity generated from the operation of
existing grid connected power plants which is mainly dominated by thermal/fossil fuel-based power plant. The project
activity thus reduces the anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) associated with equivalent amount of
electricity generation from the existing grid connected power plants (mostly fossil fuel based) and from addition of new generation sources into the grid.
