Project Brief

Recycling of paper and cardboard by Al Dhafra Paper (hereafter referred to as the Project) is a new paper and  cardboard recycling project converting waste paper and cardboard into recycled test liner and fluting medium to cater to the packaging industry in the UAE with a capacity of manufacturing 650 MT per day of recycled material. This would avoid the waste paper and cardboard to be deposited to the landfill and further emission of methane from the landfill.

The project is invested and operated by Al Dhafra Paper Manufacturing Company LLC which was set up on 15th July 2017 by Union Paper Mills under the umbrella of its parent organization M.A.H.Y. Khoory & Co. LLC and has been operational since then.
