Project Brief | The proposed Project Activity is the installation of a new grid-connected 5 MW solar power plant at a site where no renewable power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field plant). The project is being implemented in state of Bihar in India by Udipta Energy and Equipment Pvt. Ltd. who is the Project Implementer and have commissioned this project on 17/04/2017. |

Additional Information | The annual average net electricity generation from the project activity is estimated to be 6,9016 MWh. By displacing this amount electricity from fossil-fuel based power plants, the project activity is expected to reduce 6,421 tCO2e GHG emissions annually and 64,215 tCO2e over the entire crediting period of 10 years. These annual average net electricity generation and annual average GHG emission reductions are with application of degradation factor of 1% per year. |
