Project Brief

The project is promoted by Ahill Apparel Exports Private Limited. The purpose of this bundled project activity is to generate electricity by harnessing the wind energy using wind turbines and thereby feed the generated electricity to the Indian national grid. Project activity involves installation of multiple wind power generation projects in Karnataka with a total project capacity of 20 MW. 

The project is estimated to generate an estimated average of 53961 MWh/year amount of electricity. This project activity will replace anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG’s) estimated to be approximately 50211 tCO2e per year.

Additional Information

In addition to contribution to the sustainable environment by reducing the GHG emissions and reducing the dependency on fossil fuels, this project activity also contributes to the sustainable development though supporting the local community and local economy.

This project activity also promotes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)s.
