Project Brief

The purpose of this project activity is to generate electricity by harnessing wind energy by harnessing the wind potential using Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) technology and thereby feed the generated electricity to the Brazilian national grid, the National Interconnected System (SIN).
This project activity involves installation of three wind power plants in Brazil with individual installed capacities of 30MW each with a total project capacity of 90MW. The project activity has installed the Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) to convert the available wind energy into electricity. Each project activity consists of 15 turbines of Vestas V110 make with a capacity of 2 MW each. The project activity is connected by overhead transmission lines to Complexo Eólico Cristalândia Substation to supply the generated zero-emission electricity to the national grid of Brazil.
