Project Brief

The proposed project activity involves installation of three Solar Power Projects with a total capacity of 458 MW in the Loc Tan Commune, Loc Ninh District, Binh Phuoc province in Vietnam. The Project activity Involves the installation of the Solar PV Modules to convert the available solar energy into the electricity. The project is fully commissioned and operational and the total project capacity has been connected to the national Grid of vietnam . Generated power from the project is being supplied to the Provincial Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN).

The electricity generated from this project will replace anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG’s) by displacing equivalent amount of electricity from the generation mix of power plants connected to the national grid, which is mainly dominated by thermal/fossil fuel-based power plant

Additional Information

Project activity is expected to generate 640,805 MWh of average electricity per annum. The project activity is expected to reduce an annual average emission reductions equivalent to 527,367

t CO2 over the 10-years crediting period and reduces 5,273,670t CO2 for the whole crediting period.
