| Project Brief | The project activity is a new grid-connected 150 MW wind power plant/unit at a site where no renewable power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field plant). The project is implemented in Gujarat state of India by one Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) viz. Morjar Windfarm Development Private Limited.
The project activity is expected to generate 4,44,894 MWh/year and 42,95,914 MWh over the 10 year crediting period. The emission reduction is estimated to be 4,14,196 tCO2e / year and thus over 10 years of crediting period it is estimated to 39,99,493 tCO2e. However, for representative figures we consider the annual average electricity generation of 4,29,591 MWh and average annual emission reductions of 3,99,949 tCO2e. |
