Project Brief

MER – Saysun Solar Power Plant Bundle Project consists of 48 individual Unlicensed Photovoltaic Solar Power Plants with a capacity of 46.412 MWe in total.

The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emission from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power Grid. Total installed capacity included by the GCC project is drawn as 46.412 MW. The average annual generated energy is expected to be 81,501.64 MWh according to the generation values and the project will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 47,854 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) per annum. The total emission reduction for the whole crediting period is calculated as 478,543 tones of CO2.

The project is expected to contribute 6 SDGs which are SDG 6,7,8,9,11 and 13.
