Project Brief

Taihe Municipal Solid Waste Incineration for Power Generation Project is invested and operated by Taihe Tianying Eco-Energy Co., Ltd., and is located in Shuangxing Village, Shuangfu Town, Taihe County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, P.R. China. The purpose of the project is to dispose the municipal solid waste in Taihe County through incineration, and simultaneously utilizing the residual heat for power generation. The Project is estimated to dispose approximately 219,000t of solid waste , and 66,300MWh of electricity is expected to be supplied to the East China Power Grid with full work load annually. The baseline scenario for MSW treatment is the disposal of the waste in landfill site without capturing landfill gas and the baseline scenario for electricity generation is same amount of electricity would be supplied by ECPG. The  estimated emission reductions over the 10-year crediting period of the project total are 416,213.20tCO2e.
