| Project Brief | Cikandang Mini Hydro Electric Power Plant 3x2 MW has been established and operated by PT. Republika Mandiri Energi. The purpose of establishing the power plant is to contribute to Indonesia’s increasing energy demand by providing clean energy to Indonesian National Grid from hydro power. The crediting period chosen by the project activity Cikandang Mini Hydroelectric is 10 years fixed period in which total estimated green house gas emission reduction is 272,049 tCOe2. The project is in operational since April 2021. The project complies with the relevant regulations and laws in Indonesia. The generation license of the project was issued in 2016 for 20 years. The project consist of 3 units which each unit having 2MW capacity. Total installed capacity is 6 MW and annual generation is expected to be 35 GWh. |
