Project Brief

Wonder Cement Limited (WCL) has a cement plant having clinker production line with the design capacity of 8000 tons/per day, which can burn many forms of coal and coke in the kiln and in the precalciner. The heat released from burning fossil fuel in the kiln and pre-calcineris used in the clinkerization process. While most of the heat is used in the said processes, a substantial amount of heat is lost through waste gases from the Preheater and AQC in the cement plant. The Cement plant is located at village Bhatkotri, tehsil Nimbahera, District Chittorgarh of Rajasthan state of India.

Additional Information

The project proposes to install 1 heat recovery boilers with 1 set of single injection condensing turbine- generator unit with the installed capacity of 12 MW. The annual net electricity generation from WHRS plant amounts to 71,470 MWh and yearly net emission reduction is 65,051 tons of CO2.
