| Project Brief | The "Balıkesir Aktarma SPP" project, which was established in Balıkesir Province, Karesi District, Aktarma Area, is the largest unlicensed SPP investment made in the private sector in Turkey as a single piece, with 33.966 MWe (40.617 MWp) installations collectively. Balıkesir Aktarma SPP project will be registered as "Özkoyuncu Aktarma Bundle SPP Project" under the name of Özkoyuncu Enerji Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. In accordance with the Regulation on Unlicensed Electricity Production in the Electricity Market and the EIA legislation, SPP call letters for a total of 33.966 MWe (0.999 MWe x 34 units) were distributed to 20 different companies. Currently, each of these 20 (twenty) Limited Companies is a subsidiary of Eksper Enerji A.Ş. 100% shares of Eksper Enerji A.Ş. belong to Özkoyuncu Enerji Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Upon the completion of the investment, these companies became Özkoyuncu Enerji Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. combined with. The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emissions from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to the Turkish National Power Grid. The total installed capacity is 33.966 MWe/ 40.617 MWp. The average annual generated energy is expected to be 61,734 MWh and the project will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 40,014 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) per annum. For the entire crediting period 400,140 tons of CO2 are expected to be reduced. |
