Qinshui Huamei Pingshan CMM Power Project is a power generation project with installed capacity of 6MW, which utilizes low concentration coal mine methane (CMM) for power generation and supplies electricity to North China Power Grid (NCPG). The project locates in Houhe Village, Zhengcun town, Qinshui County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province, P.R. China. The project is invested and operated by Qinshui Huamei Push New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd.

The project will achieve green-house gas emissions reduction from two sources: 1) Methane (CH₄) emissions from the previously vented CMM which will be destroyed by the project; 2) CO₂ emissions from the production of electricity by the Project which would otherwise have been generated by the fossil fuel fired power plants of North China Power Grid (NCPG). The project is expected to achieve an annually average emission reduction of 172,194 tCO₂e. The total emission reductions during the fixed 10-year crediting period will be 1,721,940 tCO₂e.
