| Project Brief | Project activity involves installation of two solar photovoltaic power generation projects with installed capacity of 50 MW each. Thus, total capacity of the project is 100 MW. The projects are installed in Jhunthala, Pasnoor and Namapur districs of Telangana State of India. The electricity generated from Project Activities are exported to the Indian grid thereby displacing electricity from the grid electricity distribution system dominated by fossil fuel based power plants. Implementation of the project activity results replacement of anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases estimated to be approximately 158,412 tCO2/year, thereon displacing 170,243 MWh/ year amount of electricity from the grid. |
