Project Brief

Çiftay-1 Solar Power Plant Bundle consists of 14 individual Unlicensed Polycrystalline Silicon and Thin Film Solar Power Plants with a capacity of 13.51 MWe / 16.16 MWp in total, which is formed according to the Law no: 6446 on Electricity Market Law. Solar panels, inverters and power transmission lines were intended to be built in different regions of Turkey.

The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emission from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power Grid. Total installed capacity is 13.51 MWe / 16.16 MWp. The average annual generated energy is expected to be 8.740 MWh between 11/05/2018 and 18/06/2018 and 25,669 MWh after 18/06/2018, so the project will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 9,214 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) between 01/06/2018 and 31/12/2018 and 16,639 tCO2e after 31/12/2018 annually. For the entire crediting period, 165,890 tCO2e are expected to be reduced.
